We offer Insulation Sheets in polyisocyanurate (PIR), mineral wool, extruded and expanded polystyrene.

INSULATION

Poly-iso stability at high temperatures prevents melting when hot asphalt is applied. Poly-iso is not affected by properly applied construction adhesives and many membrane manufacturers specify its use, without the need for a cover panel in the bonded single-layer systems.

FM (Factory Mutual) has approved the use of Poly-iso insulation sheets as components in the construction of Class 1 insulated roofs. Poly-iso insulation sheets have also passed tests and have been classified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) as component parts for insulated roofing.

BENEFITS OF ROOFING INSULATION

Due to its ability to withstand thermal transfer, roofing insulation conserves energy and improves the comfort of occupants. It also gives important benefits to the roof; It can prevent internal condensation, provides a suitable substrate for the roofing membrane, also reduces the movement of the roof covering by stabilizing temperatures.

  • It is a key component in fire resistant roofing construction.
  • It is compatible with system components, including adhesives.
  • It is dimensionally stable.

The felt insulation sheet is a closed-cell poly-iso isolate core integrally laminated to thick black (non-asphalt) fiber-reinforced felt coatings. It is offered in a variety of thicknesses, providing values of long-term thermal resistance (LTTR) from 6.0 to 25.0. These sheets are generally specified for BUR (multilayer roofing) systems of hot asphalt, modified asphalt and single-layer membrane.

Fiberglass sheets have a closed cell poly-iso isolate core, integrally laminated with thick glass-fiber covered coatings. It is offered in a variety of thicknesses, providing values of long-term thermal resistance (LTTR) from 6.0 to 25.0.

These insulation sheets are generally specified for BURsystems applied in cold, modified asphalt applied in cold and of single-layer membrane.

The extruded polystyrene insulation sheets are ideal for insulating floors in cold-storage rooms, due to their high compression load capacity.
